Restraint Training

• Level 3 advanced award in Physical restraint instruction (Law and risk management physical skill instruction delivering physical restraint )

• EDEXCEL BTEC level 3 ward in (Specialist 4-7) in the delivery of conflict management training (QCF) (Managing conflict in the workplace when dealing with customers, service users or the public and delivering scenario-based conflict management training)

• EDEXCEL BTEC level 3 for deliveries of physical intervention training in the private security industry.

• Emergency response cuff (ERC) and handcuff trainer.

• Deliver the Use of force with children and young people in care homes and school’s.

 

PSS Trainers are trained by The National Federation for Personal Safety (NFPS) in a BTEC level 3 Accreditation to deliver training with an outcome of a BTEC level 2 Accreditation.

The Training for The use of force with children and young People are done in accordance to the Children’s Act 1989 guidance and regulations Volume5 Children’s homes.

 

Our training meads the National Health and Safety Standards. And the  BTEC level 3 accreditation Trainer will need to complete a refresher training every twelve months By The National Federation for Personal Safety (NFPS)

 

 All of the training that will be delivered is subject to on-going legal research to ensure that we provide training that is legally accurate and compliant with UK statute including Human Rights Legislation and Strasbourg case law as well as specific Children's primary and secondary legislation, and where it is appropriate and lawfully correct, relevant codes of professional practice.
